Taught by Jesse Katzman, our Tai Chi class includes the modified Yang Style 24-Posture Tai Chi form, which is a set of individual poses that are performed together as a single, fluid routine, in addition to the 12 Postures from Qi Gong and other basic techniques for self maintenance. This class includes physical routines and postures to achieve and maintain flexibility, strength, and balance, in addition to breathing and meditation exercises to relieve physical and mental stress, optimizing the flow of energy throughout the body.
Jesse studied Tai Chi with Dr. Xinrong He, a Tai Chi master of the Yang Style from a recognized Tai Chi family in China. In addition to Tai Chi, he studied mixed martial arts, in particular Aikijujutsu and Karate, and he was an All-American NCAA gymnast and enjoys skateboarding and snowboarding.
